So yesterday I braved the not-blizzard and went to the Spyder sale at 260 Fifth Avenue at around 5PM. It wasn't packed at all because of the snow, and I was probably one of the 5 people in the store in total. A short review:
- Everything is 50% off retail price. This was disappointing to me as I usually see 60-80% off at sales like this
- Men's S and XS were short in supply. Plenty of options for M, XL and up.
- Some good pieces that I saw:
- Leader Jacket for $225 (usually one of the highly rated ski jackets)
- Monterosa Jacket for $450
- Titan for $225 and a bunch of others for 50% off
- Not many ski pants for those looking for S sizes. Saw some great pieces for the bigger sizes though.
- There's also a good selection for kids outerwear.
So the bottomline is, you can save anywhere from $25 and above compared to online prices. I ended up not getting anything.
