Hello /r/BuyItForLife ! I'll need some advice / recommendations from yall, hear me out :)
Am helping a friend to look for a backpack that's is physically similar to Herschel's Little America and Retreat collections, with the double straps hanging down the front of the bag. I've suggested RPMWest's Quarter Century Backpack in Navy to him, and he really liked the style, but I did not recommend it in the end due to some QC issues some redditors had.
I understand that Goruck, Tom Bihn, Mission Workshop and Filson are the holy grails of BIFL bags, but to my (limited) knowledge none of these brands (?) have a similar style to those I listed above. Also, I'm probably committing a sin here, but I'd like it to be affordable as well (~US$150). Then again, I'd love to hear suggestions, so just shoot!
Thanks in advance!
Ninja edit: The bag does not need to have a large capacity, preferably able to hold an iPad, a 3DS, a hoodie, and a few EDC items.
