We're re-doing the electrics in a couple of rooms in our old house in Spain. There's currently no wiring at all in the rooms, just incoming cabling for lights and plug sockets. The problem is the walls are super thin – 50mm to be precise – so I'm not sure we can safely cut channels in them to run conduit. Here's the structure of the walls, as best as I can tell: http://ift.tt/2nE7bBc conduit I'd use is something like this – I'd probably need a 20mm inner diameter.I'll double-check with an architect, but I'm 99% sure the walls are not load-bearing.Is it possible and safe to gouge out a channel and run the conduit in these things?Metric to imperial conversion for y'alls:50mm is just under 2"20mm is just over 3/4"Cheers! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2odnzK1
