I currently sleep with two worn out flat pillows stacked up. It takes me a lot of fluffing and adjusting to get comfortable. If I have to get up to use the bathroom during the night getting back to sleep takes forever, I have to do the adjusting all over again but really slowly and carefully because I feel badly waking up my boyfriend. Last night it took me about an hour and a half to get comfortable again and I decided when I woke up today I'd start looking for a good pillow. I usually start out on my back but wake up on my side. The mattress is moderately firm I guess but has a 2" memory foam topper. I like a lot of support for my neck but I like to be able to sink in a bit, so anything too firm wouldn't be for me. I get really warm when I sleep so I'd prefer something that doesn't trap much heat.
