I am ADHD and have always struggled with money management. I would have never imagined being able to keep a budget but have been for a year now, thanks in large part to this sub. The results have been astounding.

I'm not going to pass along a bunch of hard numbers, but I would like to state it's tough seeing posts on here like "I make 200k a year and have 5 million to invest, please help!" We are a family of four on one, modest income (under 60k). For a long time I thought financial health wasn't really attainable.

Nonetheless we've been able to transform our finances, and our lives by committing to a budget. In one year we've been able to bank 2 months of reserves, and have never had more money in the bank than we do right now and it's such a great feeling.

For anyone who thinks you don't make enough money or don't have the discipline manage a budget, I assure you, you're mistaken! Do it.
