I don't have a picture of the shoes before dyeing, but they were all white canvas. I started by dropping diluted procion fibre reactive dye (just follow the proportions on the jar) onto the shoes in random places. I used navy, fuschia and turquoise. Then I rinsed them thoroughly in warm water and allowed them to dry. http://ift.tt/2lBq4QH I took a white fabric pen and started adding starbursts, little clusters of stars and planets. http://ift.tt/2mi48hR was kind of fun adding all the dots.
