I am re-doing a room in my house to be a comfy lounge/cuddle space for parties. The room is currently carpeted and has floor base molding along the wall. I want to build a bed frame into the floor and would love some insight on how to do this the right way.I was originally planning on using 3 of the rooms walls and adding in a wooden "retaining wall". Would it be better to build the frame all the way around though? Should there be a bottom to the frame?Should I remove carpet from underneath wear the bedding is going? Or should I build a base for the bedding? Or both? Here is a crappy picture of what I mean: http://ift.tt/2nDrvzQ've never done anything like this, so it's going to be a huge project for me. I just want to know that I'm well informed before starting. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nrvWhI
