I recently relocated to South Florida to live rent free in my childhood home with my new bride. I didn't realize how hard jobs in my field would be to find (IT). So I took the closest thing I could find-- contract cable guy. I enjoy the job, but a job that was supposed to be 7 to 7 for 5 days a week has turned into 6 days and 7 am to 9 p.m. I've tried asking for 2 days off or less hours, but they've only made that happen once or twice in two months. My schoolwork and marriage are suffering.
My debt situation is that I was paying interest on credit card debt until wire got it refinanced interest free until June. This will give me time to increase my credit score in order to get a loan, while taking advantage of interest free. Debt is down to about $15,000.
Want to quit job, but from experience I know how hard they are to come by down here. However, school is my priority.
