I think greeting cards are a waste of money and I hate buying them, but other people think they are important for some reason. A couple of years ago I bought a pack of nice blank cards with envelopes that cost me about as much as one regular card would have, and have been using them for every occasion ever since. Just wanted to pass this tip along in case you hate buying greeting cards, too.
