Am I even using the right words to describe it? We're new to this kind of thing, so bear with me.Reference pictureThe thingy on the left isn't big enough to connect to the thingy on the right.As far as we can tell, the end of the hose is 3/8 inch, and the opening on the valve is slightly bigger (couldn't get a good measurement of it, but I would assume 1/2 inch).Went to Home Depot and said we were looking for an adapter, because we assumed that's what we need. Ended up getting this one and this one, at the suggestion of an employee there, hoping one would work and we'd just return the other. Well, either we didn't communicate properly what we were looking for, or we just don't know how to use these, because they are not helping.Looking it up now, I imagine we need connectors, not adapters?
