We are under contract. The home is older, it has good bones, but needs some improvements.
Before we move in, we want to paint everything (will have to remove wallpaper). Then replace the floors. We are thinking vinyl plank, but maybe tile? The plan is to rent the place out after we move on, so whatever it is will need to be durable.
We will need to buy a washer/ dryer soon. We think used will be the best bet, any tips on saving money here?
The guest bath needs a new vent fan and sheetrock repair.
All of the light fixtures are outdated and a bit grimy. Any tips to replace them cheaply but still with some character?
