This may not be the place to post this, but I recently received a job offer from Foresters Financial and was wanting to get some opinions on them. I know that the starting pay is incredibly low during the training phase and after you make around $15,000 in sales you start getting paid on a commission basis. After that you are, essentially, an Independent Contractor working for them. Benefits are a big question. Just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on their reputation as a company, or anything else I should know before inquiring more about the job offer. I interviewed with Northwestern Mutual as well and absolutely hated it. Seemed a lot more like a pyramid scheme than anything. Foresters, from my understanding, focuses a lot more on training individuals so you have a better chance surviving out in the field.
