I'm looking for a durable, well made work bag to replace a cheaper one that just wore out. I'm lucky enough to live near a Filson store and was able check out their bags in person this weekend. Im very interested in a 256, but I want to make sure I've done my research first. I know Filson has a mixed reputation--some of their stuff is legendary, others are apparently just overpriced. It sounds like their bags in general are made in house and very durable, but i figured it was worth checking to make sure that is still the case.
I would appreciate anybody's experience with these bags, and if you have any suggestions on a superior place to buy them and/or a good alternative with a similar aethetic that would be very helpful. Thank you!
