Alright this might be a long one.... A few days ago I fell for a dumb phishing scam from "Apple" and ended up giving them my name, address, birthday, debit card number, and SSN (I know I know I am fuck-up I literally don't know what I was freaking doing). Anyway nothing really happened for the first few days, but I knew I had just fucked up big time, so I set up accounts for each credit bureau (im only 19 btw) and filed several identity theft reports. I noticed early on that a new device I did not recognize was there when I was checking my Security checkup (I have a screencap and it was an Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 which I have never owned). However, no matter how many times I changed my passcode, the device would also be there, so I went to go erase it's data and then that's when the scammers somehow ended up confiscating my email that I used for basically everything (yeah, I know dumb idea) and completely override it, even with my two-step verification in my place. I also have a screencap of the I.P they used to change my password, although I looked it up twice and it gave me two different locations (One was a Verizon store in NJ the other was in Murfreesboro- not far from where I live.) They ended up getting access to all my social media (facebook, instagram, and twitter) and changed the email account, so I couldn't access them whatsoever, the worst part though is that they also took over all my accounts for each credit bureau, so now I can't even look up and see the credit discrepancies I know they are making. I also cannot get into my creditsesame account either, but I soon noticed that in my setting there was stuff like "System Services...7.7 GB" and "Unistalled Apps 12.0 GB" and " Wifi- Assist 87.2 MB"...this would somewhat proof that someone hacked my icloud and phone right? I also noticed that none of these are no longer there, though I'm not sure if proves anything, but I have little to work with. Also when I still had access to my creditsesame account I notice my credit score was 4 (it was zero before, again bc Im 19 ppl). It also said my yearly income, was $51,851 (I have a screencap of this as well) which could not be further from the truth as a work at my college for minimum wage. I am also fearful of how this will affect my financial aid, and am not sure if I can continue college because I this. I'm sure I am sounding a tad dramatic, but I am unbelievably lost and overwhelmed.I plan on going to the police later today, but I have a feeling they won't do much. Anyway, I know I do not have much evidence and I'm sure many people won't have much sympathy for me (I dont blame you) as I brought this completely upon myself, but I really feel so lost and scared and if anyway could give me some advice I would appreciate it so much. Oh yeah and I should mention I had Lifelock (I heard it was bad, but my parent's forced me to do it) before any of this even happened and did not get notified once, so if this is not a huge ringing endorsement for Lifelock I don't know what is.
