I just got my first pair of firehose pants from Duluth Trading. Unfortunately the size I ordered, which fits perfectly in other pants, is just a tiny bit tight around the waist. If this were a pair of any regular jeans, I would just keep wearing them and eventually the waist would stretch out a little to accommodate. But given that firehose pants are canvas and not denim, I don't know if they'll do the same.
Will Duluth firehose pants stretch around the waist given enough time, or should I promptly send these back and exchange them for one size up?
