So recently while monitoring my credit score on CreditKarma I noticed a legal action on both reports for $500 which I did not recognize. I disputed it on CreditKarma through direct dispute for Transunion and it fell off in about 2 days. I also disputed directly on Equifax's site and it fell off that report in about 4 days. I then had a collection account for $58 to a utility company fall off both reports. So with these negative marks gone I assumed my scores would both rise. However, my Transunion score dropped 32 points while my Equifax score went up 10. There were no other changes to either reports that I can see; my credit utilization stayed at around 8% and I had no other accounts open or closed. Is this due to my overall "available credit" dropping? I can't see any other reason my Transunion score would drop so drastically.
