I have a neighbor that asked if I would be able to cut a door into his metal garage door. He saw this video and wanted something like it.But... I have it easier because the garage door will never actually have to open. It's permanently down, so that saves a lot of work. But I'm wondering about the integrity of the garage door. It's one of those classic cheap metal panel doors, thin steel I would guess. If I cut into it and try and make a door are all the beams on the interior of the door just gonna fall apart and the door will just become completely unstable? I feel like because he doesn't actually have to use the garage door anymore it might work but I don't want to start cutting into it and the whole thing falls apart.Thoughts? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2odIrRQ
