So in the past 3.5 years, we've paid off our $40k student loan debt. This is solely off my salary because my wife stays at home with the 2 kids (3&4.5 years old)
Well today I come home and I can tell my wife is out of it. After talking, she tells me that we never do anything. We budget $140 a month for entertainment. We use the money up, but we don't really go anywhere or do anything.
Should I budget more towards entertainment? I'm a homebody. I enjoy spending time at home with the kids but I get where she's coming from.
Im only 27, so do I need to focus less on being debt free? What are some activities I can do that will make her feel like we go more places and do more things?
