Not that it makes me much more qualified than you all, but I did Finance at Wharton and worked in investment banking and private equity for a few years. Since then I've become a product person in Silicon Valley so I like making things other people can use.

Basically what I have so far is my entire income, expense, asset and liability history, with performance of investments vs. historical performance of the market. It all pulls from Mint.com exports. I have my expected net worth and income / expenses for the future and can account for things like windfalls, new mortgages and expenditures, etc. very easily.

I love it for me, and can share more if desired, but obviously if I gave it to someone else they wouldn't know where to start. Before I make it usable for others though, I thought I'd solicit some feedback.

What I'm wondering is, what are the top 5 features you would want to have in the model? What are dealbreakers for using it? What have you used before in the past and liked or disliked? Helpful to also hear what your situation is to understand motivations.
