I recently switched banks so instead of direct deposit my employer put my check on a prepaid debit card. I went to a Chase ATM on March 7th and attempted to withdraw $800. Nothing came out, but it did print a ticket that says there was a terminal error. Called Chase, and they said for me to file a dispute with the debit card company, nothing they could do for me since it's not a chase bank account. Filed a dispute with "TransCard" and got an email today saying my claim was denied. Called their customer support and was told there was nothing they could do, chase said an error did not occur at their atm, only thing they could tell me to do is call Chase to get it sorted out. As you remember from.earlier, chase said they can't help me since it's not a chase account. What can I do from here? I can't just let $800 go... I live in Nevada.
