I'm looking to get a cheap cell phone that is only used for emergencies. I can't particularly afford a monthly plan, so plans like virgin mobile that don't roll over minutes end up as a lot of wasted cash for me in terms of how much would just be falling off at the end of the month. I'm just looking for something that I can buy a card for 500 minutes to load onto a phone and if i don't use them all that month I'll still have a good portion left over for the next.
I'm definitely ok with a degrading amount of minutes like a monthly fee that's deducted from the rollover, but I can't seem to find anything like what I'm looking for
Please don't mistake me for some type of Luddite. I completely understand the merits of paying for a full phone plan, it just is out of my price range at the moment. Thanks for looking! I really appreciate the advice
