Well, my wife and I picked up a teak patio set this weekend. Nice long table with rounded ends and 6 chairs. Well....they're pretty gray from sitting outside. The previous owner did say he sanded and refinished all of the wood a little over a year ago, but now they're pretty moldy/gray.I purchased some teak cleaner ($14!) and did as instructed: Apply to wood, scrub in, let sit for a few minutes, then rinse. Well, I spent an hour on 3 chairs and it doesn't look like I did a single thing.I do have a pressure washer, but don't want to resort to that yet, but I did read of a seemingly easy technique. Pressure wash, sand with high grit sandpaper til smooth, apply teak sealer and you're done.Thoughts, tips, techniques?I'll post a couple of pics when I get home tonight. Furniture is solid, just gray and dirty and I'm hoping to get the more red/honey look to it. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mID7Fn
