Hello All,

I have followed the subreddit for some time read some of the FAQs but admittedly not much. I have just tried to passively understand the basics of investing while living a busy life as a working mom. One of the biggest hurdles for me has been ethics. I do believe it is possible to ethically invest, but it certainly seems tricky and at the very lease a subjective notion.

But I'm sick of hemming and hawing. I was going to just wait until I learn enough to invest in companies that are not just environmentally friendly, but I want to invest in companies that are set to lessen the effects of climate change and those who treat their workers well. I looked into places like costco, ups and some solar panel companies etc. And I "invested" in them using the app "The Game of Stocks" on Android.

I'm still way too uninformed to to invest in single stocks to build my own portfolio and, frankly, don't have much to invest yet.

So today I downloaded and opened a Stash account and wondered what everyone here thinks of that app? I chose only one portfolio "Do the right thing", what do you think of that from an ethical standpoint?

I appreciate any input and will be reading more of the FAQs and do not expect a rehashing of advice that has already been generously offered multiple times.
