Hey everyone, I just purchased a home and I'm going to be putting a dishwasher in my kitchen. After pulling out a cabinet in doing a little reframing my countertop is going to be 5/8" short. I would like to save some money and scab a piece on to the end of that thickness and then putty the seam and maybe paint and clearcoat the countertops.My questions are the following:Will my seam still show after the paint and clearcoat?has anyone ever done the granite look type of paint job on laminate countertops before?
