Spouse is 32M making 75K as a computer scientist working for DOD contractor he's held for seven years. We want to contribute up to the company match in a Roth 401k. We're currently in the 15% tax bracket which will change in 2018 once I've passed the CPA exam and we move from a single-income to dual income household no children now or in the future.

I [29] have 20K in a Roth IRA I opened at 18. Other than that we each have a negligible amount in employee trust funds from a previous employer we both worked for.
