It's time for brakes on one of my cars. I do all my own maint too. So it turns out advance is having a pretty decent sale. I use the honey app to run coupon codes and it finds one for 30% off up to 50 dollars. Well I'd be buying like 300 bucks in parts so it was going to max that out. I browse some more and find that there's also a rebate on what I was already buying. So it's clearly time to buy. I end up buying my front brakes and rear brakes in separate orders so I get to use the coupon code twice. Instead of maxing the discount out at 50 I went through a few min of extra trouble and saved 38 more on the second order and 50 on the 1st. I should be getting 60 back for the rebate as well. Not bad for top of the line parts. Don't forget to maximize coupon codes like that if you can.
