Good morning, all! This is my first post here, and I've been waffling on whether I should even do this or not.
I'm 21 years old, I work two jobs (Apple and H&M), I recently had to leave out of my mom's house (she wasn't paying rent, doesn't have a job, so we had to leave) and now I'm technically homeless as I live in a dorm at a school I don't attend. I'm stressing out every day because I have no money saved, I'm $8700 in debt because of phone bills my mom took out in my name; student loans I haven't paid from my first two years of school; I owe the school I went another $700 because of a scheduling mistake I was pressured into (she literally wanted me to take classes again to get the student loan money).
I stopped going to school because she stopped working, cooking, and cleaning around the house, and I wanted my two younger sisters to focus on school. My mother has an estranged relationship with her husband, my step-father, and it has completely ruined her thought process. She does everything haphazardly, she's tried to log into my bank apps on my phone, and she's used my SSN to look for a place to live.
I honestly don't know what to do. I'm stressing every single day, I have supportive friends but I don't want to live with them, not of embarrassment or pride but because I shouldn't even be in this situation.
The point of this post is to find advice on how to save money for a place and for the future, fix my credit score, and whatever else I may need.
I'm legitimately very desperate, guys. I live in an expensive part of the country, so place-hunting has been difficult. I just started at Apple, so it'll be sometime before I consistently make 40 hours or become full time. However, I do make 29-30 pretty often there, and I work around that schedule at H&M, which can vary around 10-16 hours a week.
I want to go back to school (I made the Dean's list last year before I stopped going for good) so I know my grades aren't awful, and I have 44 credits, but I can't check them until I remove the hold on my account with the school.
