TL;DR at the bottom.
I been technically unemployed for the past 3 months and I have a couple grand sitting in my checking account. I'm not sure what to do at this point, I don't want to run it dry, and my current job doesn't have any promising projects coming up soon (technically a private contractor).
I have thought of e-commerce and various other things, but nothing seems more solid that e-commerce and that sounds like a gamble (I only heard about e-commerce/drop shipping the other night after being annoyed of Tai Lopez's numerous ADs strung across the internet).
I've always had a business/entrepreneurial mindset as i've helped ran a private business in the electronic vaping industry (too niche, I know) where we started with $2500, but shot up to roughly a million in a year... However, I don't want to go down that path as the FDA is making it insanely hard to progress and then the industry is severely over-washed... I don't even want to think of gambling a niche market in the already niche industry of e-cigarettes...
I don't want to do anything that would touch my credit score as it's slowly been dropping (floated in the 800-790 for several years, but it is now a 719)...
I've realized I would love to just have a stable job at like Morgan Stanley pushing paper and filling in Excel spreadsheets and talking to clients as my previous and current job has me doing tons of spreadsheets and I communicate with many different people everyday and have been told I have great charismatic skills... But is there something somewhat more common?
But before I keep going off on tangents... Is there anything I can do (legally) to at least double $1000 in a month? I literally live paycheck to paycheck as my monthly bills are around $1100 a month, but I only make about $1000 a month... I know there's THOUSANDS of jobs out there, but if you told me list out 50 different jobs, I couldn't list out more than 10 without thinking much... I really have no idea what is out there.
In short, if I made even $50k a year, I would be extremely comfortable... But I would be lying if i said I wanted to put a ceiling on my goals...
I wish I had a mentor that would take me under his wing... I really have nothing to lose at this point... My car is falling apart, but i'd be willing to push it for a couple months to get where I need to be.
I don't think college is even a choice right now as I live alone in my parent's spare house, rent and utilities paid for, which makes it seem like I make "too much" to the state, when in reality, i'm by definition "homeless". I don't want to live like this for the rest of my life and my parents are ready to pull the plug at any given time. I just want to be financially stable already...
I didn't know what sub to post this and this seemed to be the best match, if it's not... Sorry. Please advise me a better place? I don't think /r/Entrepreneur or /r/finance are good places, but maybe i'm wrong...?
Thanks for any help!
TL;DR: 27, only got a couple grand to my name, time is running short before it runs out and I REALLY would do ANYTHING at this point to change my life around as i'm EXTREMELY passionate about things I dip my hands into.
