V-day is one of the holidays we usually choose to go splash for (alongside Christmas and Thanksgiving). But this year, with an infant and some life transitions coming up we decided to try to keep it under $50 as much as possible.
- First, we're forgoing babysitting by doing it at home. Our infant goes down around 7pm and sleeps well at night.
- Plans wise, we're picking up 20 wings from BWW since it's a Tuesday ($10).
- I made a couple mini-cheesecakes (~$5 in ingredients)
- Renting a movie on Google Play with my Rewards credit (~$5, since I hate it when people count giftcards as 'free').
- Some GH Cretor's chicago style popcorn for the movie. (~$6 - full price for a bag from costco even though we won't be eating it all by far.)
- A bath bomb from Lush. ($8)
Total: $34
