Hi. I'm somewhat of a gadget geek/videophile. One of my favorite gadgets...well dumb devices are TVs. The visual pop of my favorite shows excite me. Except I have a a problem. I want a new one and my current one is not even two years old yet.
Long story short, I bought it in my last year of college. It's a 49'' 4k Vizio. I got it as a black friday deal for $500. I got it for one because I got tired of not being able to use the shared TV and the price was close enough to other discounted 1080p TVs so I'm like why not upgrade? Also I didn't get a high end TV because the shared TV was great quality and somewhat accessible if i really wanted excellent quality.
Issue is, I'm slightly having regrets. My TV is 4k but has no HDR (didn't realize it was a thing at the time). And I'd prefer to have a large screen.
I'm not even sure why I even want to upgrade even though I work like 60 hours a week.
Any tips for trying to tame the want monster? Thanks!
