I have a $13/hr job, but I still live with my parents therefore I pay minimal bills. The majority of my paycheck goes to my savings account. I have $7k in savings and $7k in a CD.
I want to move out and buy a car, but at the same time I feel like maybe I should stay here and keep saving. On one hand, my parents love having me around the house and have never urged me to leave. I like my family and we help each other out. On the other hand, I do feel very limited in life because I still live with my parents. On one hand, If I move out, I'll get to finally be a true adult like everyone else. On the other hand, if I move out, I'll have very little money and might be living paycheck to paycheck just like everybody else.
