I have recently been reading about some quantitative value investing strategies and I am interested in implementing this type of strategy. The issue that I have is that I do not have efficient tools for obtaining the required stock metrics within an entire investable universe (i.e. the entire US stock market). So does anybody know of a free preferably, or paid service that provides detailed historical stock information on a variety of parameters commonly listed in a quote on say google finance. I also live in Canada and have limited USD funds so any Canada specific information would be appreciated. Thanks!
