Strongly considering Vanguard 500 Admiral Class (VFIAX) as a start. I'm 41, she's 35, kids aged 4 and 2, and we have about a 25 year timeline. Both 401(k)'s are maxed out at about $30k each.
Should we start with all our investment money in this one fund, or should we choose between multiple funds that also include bonds and international stocks? As the years progress, I'm looking at diversifying more into different funds, but as a start, just wanted your opinion if this was reasonable, or if we're completely off the mark.
