I am having a real hard time trying to sort out all the kitchenaid models and figuring out which are plastic inside and which are metal.
Some will say "all-metal construction" but that doesn't necessarily mean the gears are metal, some will specify the gears are metal and some won't specify at all. The kitchenaid website is pretty useless for that, too.
I think most of the time the metal geared models will include the burnished metal attachments, but I am not sure if this is a hard and fast rule or not.
Is there any way for me to know 100% through maybe the model number naming or something?
I am looking for a tilt-head with metal gears. All the more expensive models are bowl-lift and they don't fit under my cupboards, otherwise I would get the Pro Line. But I can't find any that say anything about the gears, plastic or no.
Thanks in advance.
