I currently have scottrade where you have the option to dollar cost average your mutual funds in my Roth IRA, and every time you do it's a $2 commission. However, I was going to switch to Vanguard considering I really only get vanguard funds and can do the DCA commission free.

I guess I'm just wondering if it's a valid strategy, especially since I'm maybe 25ish years away from retirement
