I have started to make my list and it's going to be very difficult! I will add the list once I am almost decided on what I am counting in my 100 things.

Unlike most "100 things" posts on r/minimalism which are travellers with just clothes and personal items, I'm going to try and include everything I "need" such as my bed, fridge and desk, saucepan, lunchbox...

I'm not entirely sure what to make "count"- obviously pairs of shoes or gloves count as 1 item, but is "bed" one item, or do I count mattress, duvet and pillows separately?

For my bike I will count my lock and helmet separately, but I will count things attached to the bike (mudguard, lights, bell) as part of the bike itself. I think that seems reasonable, any objections?

Once I have made my list I may well find that it's barely possible and I need to increase my number of things but 100 was the number I had in my head...it may end up being 200 or more but I hope not so much! The aim for me personally is not to struggle for 5 weeks (so I'm not going to cancel a camping trip because I can't add 6 items of camping gear to my list), but to appreciate each thing I am using and be grateful for so many things that I have.
