If you are missing your W2 from current or previous employer like I was you will likely have to call the IRS hotline.
It is an absolute nightmare having to call them.
Just to get a person on the line took several keypad prompts and unimaginable wait times.
In my attempt to save others some time when I called the keypad entry was 1, 2, 2, 3 and then the last question you must answer on your own. Before entering any number the automated system must begin talking.
