I was speaking to a representative about renters insurance and they mentioned that if I had any electronics that I wanted to insure using a Valuable Personal Property Policy it might save me money in the long run. By insuring my camera for $400 for only $20 a year I saved $44 dollars a year on my auto and renters insurance. Net gain is $24 a year and a camera insured against spills and drops. Every little bit helps :)
