So, I've been forking over 15.74 a month to Humana to cover my vision expenses. Come to find out my benefits are as follows:
Contacts (which I wear): Fitting: 15% of cost 85% out of pocket. Contacts: $115.00 credit Eye exam: $10 copay
Also, if I get contacts I am ineligible for lens frame benefit for 24 months.
I find this absurd. I am tempted to simply take my doctor's prescription I got last year, order contacts online, and forget about my contacts fitting but I might as well take advantage of my credit.
Considering I paid over 180.00 for my vision plan and got this kind of treatment I am wondering if there are better vision plans out there you guys can recommend?
Also, any websites that offer good prices for contacts? Let me know.
