Hey frugal,
I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla that my parents bought for me new when I was in college. It has about 82,000 miles on it and I've never had any problems with it.
Just recently it started to take a few more cycles to finally fire up and get going, sometimes taking 6 to 8 revs until the engine starts when I turn the key.
I replaced the battery as it was four years old but I'm still having the same problem.
I know nothing about cars but in the vein of frugality I want to become self sufficient in basic repairs. How do I get started? Any blogs or forums you guys might recommend? I'm a good learner but feel sort of lost and would like direction from someone who has been down this road already.
