Currently living in a 3 bedroom house (technically has 5) and pay about 500 a month and came to realize that I dont use a LOT of the space that im regularly paying for which is ridiculous. It means that i'm essentially working more at my job just to pay for stuff i dont even use and i want that to change. Our lease renewal is around the corner and i really want to advocate for adding two more tenants on our lease so our bills drop down to about 300 a month per person but if we cant then i will most likely move out.
My question then is, how much could i sacrifice/what options are there to get the cheapest possible living situation for myself whilst still being fairly reasonable? Such as like not living in a tent. I want to still be able to have basic amenities. For example if i lived in a renovated shed/garage that was only 200 to 300 a month, id strongly consider it.
