How accurate was the movie "The Big Short" in terms of people investing in CDOs, synthetic CDOs, BTOs; short-selling mortgages, etc.?

The market seems unusually and atypically high. I read that this is the largest/longest rally since 1987 and that sort of raises my attention. Are there any things happening that you think might be indicative of another collapse?
