I persoanlly love intelligent product design and I think the country that does this best has always been japan in my mind. Anything that can genuinely improve an everyday task in an inventive way gets a big tick in my book. For instance I just recently came across the zojirushi thermos range and I love the simplicity of its design along with how well thought out the process of maintaining the product is (not forgetting the build quality). Are there any similar japanese products with BIFL quality but their signature design ethic?
open to any country really japan just always springs to mind for high quality products with brilliant product design.
