My husband had an appendectomy in November and a 5 day hospital stay after. Our insurance was BCBS through ACA and we had a $6k deductible that we obviously hadn't met.
Luckily, that $57k bill was covered some by insurance. Now we have a $6800 hospital bill. They set us up on a payment plan, but man. Anyone have advice?
