I'm not sure how well one of the ultra-thick pillowtop mattresses would work with a slat bed, and I'm not fond of ultra-thick mattresses anyway. But what I have now seems to be crappy quality memory foam, and it needs to be replaced. The other mattress posts are a few years old at this point, and they all seem geared toward the traditional box-spring setup.
