There's no better day than today to meet someone if you're frugal. If you can meet someone today, who was born on Christmas day you can cut down the amount of presents you have to buy each year, which will probably half the costs on gift giving over your lifetime.
However if you want to take it to the next level you can meet that person (who is born on December 25th) on Valentine's day, propose the following Valentine's Day, and then get married on Christmas Day. Now you're reducing the amount of gifts even further.
But if you really want to take it to the next next level then you can meet the person on Valentine's Day (who was born on Christmas Day), propose on Valentine's Day, get married on Christmas Day, and only have sex in March so you can have a guaranteed birth (thank you, caesarean) on Christmas Day, meaning the child only gets one gift a year, again cutting costs even further. You also don't even need to buy your S/O gifts anymore because you can say their gift is the gift you're giving your child.
If you accidentally have twins just offer one up for adoption. If your partner is upset about that, just tell them that it's your gift to another family. They will be happy.
