Going to spending a few days in San Francisco (roughly Market & 4th), without a car, on a shoestring budget. What frugal dining opportunities are there?

So yeah I'll basically be in the heart of the most expensive city in America for a few days, without a car or the ability to use a kitchen. What kind of lunch/dinner options are available to me that won't break my budget?

Yes I like Asian food.
