Plumeria "sticks" are often sold at succulent shows and online, but there's no need to pay for them. If you live in an area where plumeria thrive, just keep an eye out on the side of the road for discarded prunings.

Let the sticks "cure" so they won't get any infections. Then simply stick them in the ground or a pot. No rooting hormone needed, just soil and a moderate amount of watering.
