I'm a first year college student and have been frustrated with the included dorm furniture. The desk chair they gave me seems to be a decently expensive herman miller caper stacking chair (without netting). I'm ~6'2" and the 'ergonomic' shape is quite uncomfortable for me. My posture isn't too good so after sitting in it for an hour or so I find it hard to keep sitting upright without pain in my lower back. I tried using pillows and various cushions to make it less uncomfortable but nothing has really worked. I'm not sure I want to drop $600 on a fancy office chair, but if there are no other options I will may end up doing so. Perhaps there are cheaper options I can try and see if I like before spending the big bucks (can easily make returns to Amazon at my university). I would like to be able to sit comfortably for at least a few hours (for studying or longer gaming sessions). Thanks, I would appreciate any input and sorry if this is the wrong place to ask a question like this, I got here from a few quick Google search results with similar questions to mine.
