Reddit, this is my first experience with drywall. I had a water line burst which ruined the drywall ceiling in parts of my basement. I have the drywall in place, now it's time to finish. I'm just not sure how to go about this. Do I need to sand off some of the texture on the existing drywall at the seams prior to finishing? Otherwise I would think the seams wouldn't look right once I tape and mud. Any idea? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2jFUW6M
